Job description

Position Overview:This opportunity is designed specifically for certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Aspiring RBTs, who are looking to grow their experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. In this role, you will deliver direct ABA services to children and their families by implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising BCBA. Services are provided in client homes or community-based settings depending on each client's needs. Most sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with flexibility to accommodate your availability. Compensation ranges from $22 to $30 per hour based on experience, consistency of availability, and overall qualifications. Spanish-speaking RBTs may qualify for premium pay.Responsibilities:As an RBT/BT, you will implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs designed to improve communication, social interaction, and independence in daily living activities. You will collect accurate session data, follow behavior support plans, and collaborate with supervising BCBAs and team members to ensure treatment integrity. Using evidence-based ABA strategies, you will teach new skills while decreasing behaviors that may interfere with safety or independence. Success in this role requires professionalism, consistency, compassion, and a strong commitment to helping clients make measurable progress.Qualifications:Candidates must hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing or are interested in obtaining RBT certification. Experience working with children, particularly within ABA or related pediatric settings, is preferred. Applicants with backgrounds in psychology, education, social services, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to maintain a professional and supportive presence are essential.Additional requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred), a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance listing you as a covered driver. A current negative TB test is required.Physical and Cognitive Requirements:Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and transition between floor-level and standing positions throughout the workday.Actively participate in developmentally appropriate client activities, including floor-based activities, movement-based activities, transitions, and safety monitoring.Safely navigate assigned work environments, including homes, clinics, schools, community settings, and remote/telehealth settings, as applicable.Occasionally, lift, carry, push, pull, or move therapy materials and equipment, typically up to 50 pounds.Sit for extended periods while providing telehealth services or completing computer-based work as needed.Use hands and fingers to operate computers, keyboards, mobile devices, and other equipment requiring fine motor coordination.Maintain visual and auditory awareness to observe client behavior, monitor safety, and communicate effectively in both in-person and virtual settings.Read, understand, retain, and apply written and verbal information.Maintain attention, concentration, situational awareness, and sound judgment in dynamic environments.Collect, record, and submit accurate client data and session documentation.Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.Maintain professionalism and emotional resilience when addressing sensitive client or employee matters, complaints, and workplace concerns.Benefits and Compensation:We offer competitive hourly pay, flexible scheduling, and a supportive work environment focused on clinical excellence and professional growth.
