Job description

Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital are seeking a Part-Time Academic Vascular & Interventional Radiologist to join our innovative and expanding Vascular & Interventional Radiology program. This unique opportunity offers flexibility while allowing physicians to remain engaged in a thriving vascular-focused IR practice and academic environment.

Our program has evolved into one of the region's premier Vascular & Interventional Radiology groups, recognized for advanced vascular interventions, interventional oncology, transplant-related procedures, and multidisciplinary patient care. As a hybrid academic-private practice model, faculty enjoy the resources and mission of an academic medical center combined with the efficiency and innovation of a private practice environment.

Position Highlights:

  • Flexible part-time schedule with opportunities tailored to individual interests and availability
  • Academic faculty appointment with Saint Louis University School of Medicine

Clinical Practice Opportunities:

The practice offers exposure to a diverse and complex procedural portfolio, including:

  • Peripheral arterial disease interventions and limb salvage
  • Deep vein thrombectomy and advanced venous reconstruction
  • Dialysis access creation and maintenance
  • Y-90 radioembolization and tumor ablation
  • Portal venous and biliary interventions
  • Interventional oncology procedures
  • Transplant and hepatobiliary interventions
  • Multidisciplinary vascular and tumor board collaborations

A Strong Clinical IR Model:

Our division is committed to a true Clinical Interventional Radiology model focused on longitudinal patient care and disease management.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with Interventional Radiology training
