Location: McMinnville, OR

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Scan Technician to join a hospital-based Radiology team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic outcomes. This position plays a critical role in supporting physicians with timely and precise imaging results that contribute directly to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review patient history and physician orders prior to imaging procedures
  • Educate patients on procedures and equipment to ensure understanding and cooperation
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications as ordered and within scope of practice
  • Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in status
  • Prepare imaging equipment and supplies; select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters
  • Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with safety and quality standards
  • Conduct quality control checks and troubleshoot or report equipment malfunctions
  • Position patients accurately and perform imaging exams efficiently
  • Evaluate image quality and take corrective action when necessary
  • Enter, transmit, and document imaging results accurately
Qualifications
Education
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
Licensure & Certification
  • Current Radiation Operator License (State of Oregon)
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Radiography
  • BLS Certification
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong patient care and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy
  • Ability to work independently on night shifts
  • Knowledge of CT imaging protocols, radiation safety, and quality control
