Job Summary:
Our client, is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join their team. This role involves providing mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations. You'll be responsible for performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital radiography equipment, performing EKGs, and maintaining regular communication with dispatch, management, and clients.
Qualifications (Required):
1+ years of experience in any of the following:
- Meditech RAD Radiology
- Mammography
- Radiology
- 1+ years of experience in any of the following:
- Echocardiogram (Echo)
- Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)
- Echocardiography
Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
Valid Regular Driver's License (DL)
Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination
Must not have already applied directly for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Unload portable X-Ray equipment and bring it into facilities to perform exams as ordered by the physician.
- Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
- Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily, as per protocol.
- Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
- Interact professionally and efficiently with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
- Maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment.
