Job description

Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner to provide adult-only outpatient care in a dynamic setting that blends primary care and occupational health. Clinical Scope
Patient Population: Adults (18+)
Patient Volume: 8–10 patients per shift
Care Setting: Outpatient only – no call or callback
Clinical Focus: Primary care and Occupational medicine
EMR: EPIC
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Assignment Duration: September 29, 2025 – December 24, 2025
Support Team:
2 PRN PAs
2 NPs (1 on FMLA)
1 LPN
2 full-time RNs
1 PRN RN
Candidate Requirements
Certifications:
Board Certified NP (FNP, AGNP, ACAGNP, or Internal Medicine NP)
BLS & DEA (required)
DOT Certification (preferred but not required)
Licensure: Active Connecticut NP license
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of primary care experience (not psych, hospitalist, or specialty)
At least 1 year of urgent care and/or primary care experience
EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
Clinical Strength: Must be confident and clinically strong in managing adult primary care and occupational health independently
