Job Title: Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Oncology/Neuro)

Location: Columbia, MO

Pay Rate: $2100 To $2300/Week

Contract: 8 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) 

Experience: 2+ Years Med Surg, Oncology, or Neurology Experience

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse to join the Oncology/Neurology unit at Boone Health. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care for patients with neurological, oncology, and complex medical conditions in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.

  • Administer medications, chemotherapy, and prescribed treatments.

  • Monitor neurological and oncology patients, documenting changes in condition.

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

  • Float to other Med Surg units as needed.

Requirements

  • Active RN License.

  • Current BLS Certification.

  • Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg, Oncology, or Neurology nursing experience.

  • Experience with chemotherapy, stroke, seizure, and post-neurosurgical patients preferred.

  • Meditech EMR experience preferred.

  • Ability to manage up to 8 patients when required.
