Day Surgery Patient Population: Preoperative and Post Anesthesia Phase II Discharge Patient Ratios: Pre-op and Post-op 1:1, Phase II 1:3 Number of Beds: 27 beds Department Specifics: Getting patients ready for their surgery/procedure (IR), need excellent IV skills, patient teaching/education, providing patients and family with pre/post op instructions, work well in high stress and fast paced environment, self-motivated during low census, flexible with availability and assignments. Daily flow is dependent on OR schedule and hours may vary based on surgery and schedule census.
