Job description

Registered Nurse โ€“ Telemetry

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, 36 hours per week

Assignment Details:

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

  • Active nursing license
  • Experience in post-ICU care
  • Familiarity with drips and stable ventilators
  • Proficient in Cerner charting
  • Ability to float to telemetry/medical-surgical units

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for patients in a tele step-down high acuity unit.
  • Administer medications and IV drips as needed.
  • Monitor patients on stable ventilators.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner.
  • Support and assist nursing staff and PCTs as necessary.

Compliance / Notes:

Must be comfortable working in fast-paced environments and exhibiting independent decision-making skills. Nurse-to-patient ratios: 3-4:1 in IMCU and 5-6:1 in Tele/Med-Surg with PCT assistance.
