Essential Qualifications:
- Current Michigan Occupational Therapy license
- Experience in school-based, home health, or general healthcare OT settings
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
- Passion for helping children achieve developmental and educational goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive OT evaluations and evidence-based treatments to elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Consult with teachers and staff to modify classroom environments and instructional strategies
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions to ensure optimal student outcomes
- Manage documentation, progress reports, and communication in accordance with district and state regulations
- Engage families and caregivers to support skill development at home
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate services
