Your Role:
  • Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and treating a variety of developmental disorders
    • Our population consists of Autism (ASD), ADHD, language-based learning disorders, AAC users, motor speech disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, and developmental delays
  • Timely completion of documentation including daily SOAP notes, progress notes, initial and re-evaluations
  • Implement evidence based, neurodiversity affirming treatment techniques including sensory-based strategies and a strengths-based approach to improve independence in childhood occupations
  • Collaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, BCBA's, psychologists, and other team members to provide a whole child approach
  • Modify the learning environment to suit patients' skill progressions
  • Effectively provide parent and family education
  • Engage in cultural responsiveness when treatment planning for culturally diverse population

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Washington State Occupational Therapy License
  • 1-3 years experience preferred, but open to new graduates
