ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12 Hour Shifts: 7 PM - 7 AM / 7 AM - 7 PM with night/day rotation. 36 and 48 hours available per week.

Must work at least 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Candidate must also work at least 1 holiday during the contract.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery unit, which consists of 10 beds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and delivery nursing, demonstrating the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery.
  • Provide education and support to expectant mothers and families.
  • Administer medications and perform interventions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
  • Float to mother/baby and newborn as needed.
Required Experience & Certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in labor and delivery.
  • 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
  • Active New York RN license.
  • Certifications: AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, C-EFM (fetal monitoring).
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
