What is a virtual monitoring technician?

A Virtual Monitoring Technician is a professional responsible for remotely observing and monitoring systems, facilities, or patient data using digital technologies and surveillance tools. They ensure real-time oversight of operations, safety, or health metrics from a remote location, often responding to alerts or abnormalities as they occur. This role is commonly found in healthcare, security, or IT sectors, and may involve direct communication with on-site staff to coordinate rapid responses.
