Since 1991, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano has served the communities of Plano, Frisco, Carrollton, Addison, Richardson, and McKinney. As a 386-bed, full-service hospital, we're proud to deliver exceptional care to North Texans through advanced technology and a dedicated team.
We offer a range of specialties, including emergency medicine and trauma, cardiology, neurosurgery and spine care, orthopedics, women's services, adult and adolescent behavioral health, and critical care. Texas Health Plano is a Level II Trauma Facility and the only health care provider in Collin County with Level IV NICU and Level IV Maternal Facility designations. We are also a DNV-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and Primary Heart Attack Center accredited by The Joint Commission in Hip and Knee Replacement.

Here's What You Need
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required
- 1 year of telemetry monitoring is strongly preferred
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required
- Basic Understanding/ability to learn medical terminology
What You Will Do
- Demonstrates competency in the set up and use of the telemetry monitoring equipment.
- Collects, reports, and documents patient information (rhythms/rate) timely and accurately.
- Seeks assistance, supervision, or consultation when unsure of rhythm(s) identification.
- Distinguishes and reports abnormalities and initiates action to provide continuity of care.
- Serves as a patient advocate.
- Assists with documentation that supports and meets hospital and regulatory requirements.
