Summary:

Provides interpretation services ensuring that patients and their families receive effective, understandable, respectful care, provided in a manner compatible with their preferred language and cultural health beliefs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the functions of a centralized, multilingual medical interpretation program benefiting the patients of AnMed Health and its subsidiaries as required by Federal law.
  • Ensure the availability of on-site, digital or virtual medical interpretation encounters as assigned.
  • Participate in the organization's efforts to identify and participate in multicultural efforts across the AnMed service area.

Qualifications:

  • HSD/GED and proficiency in English and Spanish are required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Spanish, Communications or related field preferred. 
  • One year healthcare medical interpretation experience preferred.
