What is a virtual medical scribe?

A Virtual Medical Scribe is a professional who remotely assists healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters in real-time during medical appointments. They listen to conversations between the physician and patient, then accurately record medical histories, exam findings, and treatment plans into the electronic health record (EHR) system.
