Strong understanding of relationship-building strategies with at-risk or disengaged students.
Ability to foster student accountability, motivation, and executive functioning skills in a flexible learning environment.
Skilled in communicating effectively with students, parents/guardians, and multidisciplinary support teams through phone, email, video conferencing, and digital platforms.
Experience using learning management systems (LMS), student information systems, and online instructional tools.
Ability to monitor student progress data and implement timely academic and behavioral interventions.
Knowledge of MTSS, student engagement strategies, and trauma-informed practices in alternative or virtual settings.
Comfortable conducting synchronous virtual support sessions, small groups, and individualized student conferences.
Ability to maintain consistent communication and outreach with students and families to support attendance, participation, and course completion.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage large student caseloads independently.
Experience working with diverse learners, including students with behavioral, academic, social-emotional, or attendance challenges.
