Opportunity: Virtual Service Operations is searching for a Terraform and IaC Engineer to support a migration project.  Core Responsibilities: * Terraform IaC ownership: Design, author, and maintain Terraform modules/stacks for VPC/LZ constructs, subnets, routing, SGs/NACLs, IAM, KMS, EC2/ASG/Launch Templates, EBS/EFS/FSx, SSM, CloudWatch/CloudTrail, backup/DR, and tagging/Cost Allocation.
* COOP/DR environment: Provision and document COOP architecture in AWS, align RTO/RPO with program objectives; implement cross-Region replication where applicable.
* Compliance & OS hardening: Collaborate with Linux ops to implement and validate NIST STIG controls (RHEL baselines), integrating checks into Terraform + pipeline (e.g., CIS/OSCAL policy tests, Inspector/Config rules).
* Migration enablement: Support teams executing x86 Windows workload migrations and AIX?RHEL modernization by providing landing zones, network connectivity, IAM guardrails, and automated build patterns.
* Database migration readiness: Coordinate with DB team to provision target services (e.g., RDS/Aurora/EC2-hosted DB), networking, security, parameter groups, backup plans; assist with DMS or native tooling enablement.
* Network facilitation: Work with network engineers to meet connectivity requirements (VPN/Direct Connect, TGW, route tables, firewall rules); codify as IaC where feasible.
* Pipelines & GitOps: Implement CI/CD for Terraform (plan/apply gates, workspaces, environments); ensure code reviews, drift detection, and secrets handling.
* Documentation & KT: Produce runbooks, module READMEs, architecture diagrams, and operational handoff docs; peer-review PRs.
* Partner collaboration: Operate within AWS + partner model; coordinate deliverables, schedules, and change controls. Qualifications:   * Experience building on AWS with strong Terraform (HCL) expertise (modules, providers, workspaces, state mgmt, backends, version pinning).
* Proven delivery of secure AWS landing zones and VPC-level networking patterns in regulated environments.
* Hands-on experience with Linux administration and implementing NIST STIG or CIS benchmarks (validation, remediation workflows).
* Experience enabling Windows server migrations (image baking/SSM, domain join patterns, patching) and supporting database migration targets.
* CI/CD for IaC (GitHub Actions/GitLab/Jenkins/CodePipeline), code review practices, and artifact/version management.
* Strong documentation skills and customer-facing communication. Requirements * 7 - 9 years of professional experience 
* Must be willing to travel occasionally to Millington, TN 
* Must hold an active TS/ SCI clearance
