Schedule: 7:00 pm - 5:00 am Mon - Fri (OT, Holiday's and Weekends as needed)

What does a Sanitizer Lead do at Swire Coca-Cola?
In this role you will be responsible for monitoring, training, and conducting clean sanitation standards as established by the QA department, internal and regulatory requirements while adhering to standardized company policies and practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Uphold all safety practices to prevent injury from unsafe work practices and/or conditions
  • Report all safety hazards or potential hazards to the safety team representative and management
  • Monitor plant sanitation and personal hygiene as outline by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for food processing facilities in CFR (Title 21, part 117) and current company GMP Policies
  • Perform standardized Clean in Place (CIP) and Clean out Place (COP)
  • Follow all required work instructions, work aids and forms as they pertain to Quality, Environment, Safety and Food Safety
  • Understand, monitor and act accordingly to support: ISO-GFSI compliance, FDA-FSMA regulatory requirements, Food Safety & Quality programs as implemented by the company
  • Assist the Quality Assurance management team with any projects as designated
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement, lean practices, six sigma, 5S, food safety, environmental and plant safety programs
  • Training sanitation workers and organizing refresher workshops for existing staff
  • Delegate and manage lab responsibilities and workload to assigned crew
  • Develop daily and weekly tasks schedules for team

Requirements:
  • Minimum High School diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in science related field preferred
  • 2+ years' people leadership experience required
  • 2+ years of following GMP and SOP practices required
  • 2+ years' experience of Food Plant Quality Assurance
  • 3+ years of production experience may substitute for the QA experience or demonstrated proficiency in Quality Systems
  • Familiarity with sanitation safety and handling of hazardous materials
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities
  • Dependable and have a flexible schedule
