Position Title: Designer
Team: Design
Report to: Design Manager
Non-Exempt/Exempt (DOE)
Position Overview:
The Designer plays a central role in translating the artist's artistic vision into high-quality graphic design outputs across multiple projects.
This role requires strong conceptual thinking, technical execution, and close collaboration with the artist, painters, and internal teams to bring projects from concept through completion while maintaining the studio’s artistic and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
・ Develop and execute graphic design projects based on the artist's art direction, from concept through final delivery
・ Conduct image research and propose visual ideas to enhance artistic and design outcomes
・ Create and organize layouts in alignment with the artist’s direction and project requirements
・ Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality
・ Prepare clear, detailed design instructions and visual references for painters, and provide ongoing guidance throughout the production process
・ Design and finalize graphic components for large-scale projects, including billboards and exhibitions
・ Collaborate closely with the Design Manager, artist, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
・ Communicate progress, challenges, and updates in a timely and professional manner
Required Qualifications:
・ Strong design portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and execution
・ Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (vector design) and Photoshop (photo editing, retouching, color correction)
・ Experience and working knowledge of DTP (Desktop Publishing)
・ Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (page layout)
・ Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a graphic design role
・ Ability to interpret design briefs and translate them into clear visual direction
・ Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility
・ Strong attention to detail and ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
・ Calm, thoughtful, and collaborative attitude, even under pressure
・ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
