Job description

This position is based onsite at our office in Dallas, TX.

The Role:ย ย  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Handle all aspects of city and municipal violation processing, code enforcement responses, and related compliance matters.
  • Update municipal compliance database, as needed.
  • Communicate with residents and city and county agencies on a daily basis.
  • Utilize exceptional interpersonal skills to develop a strong working relationship with municipal agencies, code enforcement officers, and residents.
  • Assist leadership and colleagues as needed; work collaboratively with all team members.
  • Provide timely response to all municipal compliance and violation-related requests from internal and external parties.
  • Assist with city violation billing, enforcement notices, and general business functions.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of current state, local, and municipal ordinance statutes, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage city violation cases and municipal inspections in markets where applicable.
  • Assist with resolving and documenting city and county violations, including attending virtual violation hearings as needed.
  • Other activities as assigned by your manager.ย 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma required plus 2+ years of general office or call center experience
  • Municipal compliance, city ordinance, or property management experience required.
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrates the ability to take initiative, be independent and a self-starter
  • Effective project management skills and able to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Good time-management skills, able to consistently meet goals and deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • Exhibits sound judgment and decision-making ability
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication and reading skills
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and operate in a fast-paced work environment

Additional Information. The role will require:

  • Routine use of standard office equipment and computers
  • Regular typing, talking, hearing, seeing, reaching, and repetitive motion.
  • That all duties are performed in a professional and safe manner
  • Standard workdays are Monday through with occasional evening and weekend overtime hours
