Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Per Diem Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team in Silverdale, Washington.


Responsibilities:

As an Infusion RN, you will provide safe, high-quality infusion therapy while ensuring an outstanding patient experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Administer prescribed infusion therapies according to physician orders and established protocols.
  • Start and maintain peripheral IVs and care for central venous access devices (PICC lines, ports, and central lines).
  • Monitor patients during treatment and respond appropriately to adverse reactions.
  • Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, and potential side effects.
  • Document patient care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized infusion environment.
  • Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection prevention, and patient safety standards.


Qualifications

Required

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience in ICU, Emergency Department, Critical Care, Oncology, or another high-acuity clinical setting.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Strong IV insertion and vascular access skills.

Preferred

  • Previous outpatient infusion nursing experience.
  • Experience with specialty infusion medications, biologics, IVIG, iron infusions, or chemotherapy.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Experience using EMR systems.
