Compensation

Salary Range: $50.00 - $78.45 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Provides safe, quality care in the perioperative/procedural areas. Implements the nursing process; assessment, planning, implementation of nursing plan of care, and evaluation of patient response to care. Coordinates patient care planning with other hospital disciplines.

This position will rotate between the CMHS Ambulatory, Infusion, and Pain Centers.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current CA Registered Nurse License
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • One (1) year of acute care nursing experience

Preferred:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Moderate Sedation experience
  • Acute care experience
  • American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses
  • SGNA membership
  • Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Word Processing software
  • Bilingual in Spanish
