  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequent movement
Responsibilities
  • Assess patients quickly, identify changes in condition, and prioritize care based on acuity
  • Initiate emergency interventions when immediate physician support is not available
  • Monitor and operate emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, respiratory support, and other prescribed treatments
  • Document assessments, nursing interventions, treatments, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly
  • Coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the clinical team
  • Support safe staffing and patient assignments by matching nursing skills with patient care needs
  • Help maintain adequate supplies, equipment readiness, and a safe ER environment
  • Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with injuries, trauma, and urgent medical conditions
