You will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a professional and courteous manner. Additionally, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for patients under the direction of the manager/provider.The individual must be enthusiastic about patient care and have the ability to handle varied personalities and personal situations. This position will be expected to float between our Simpsonville, SC and Spartanburg, SC locations as needed.

As an Infusion RN, a typical day might look like:

  • Greeting and assessing patient’s health upon arrival and prior to their infusion appointment.
  • Insertions and discontinuation of peripheral intravenous catheters.
  • Mixing/monitoring of medications, administering premeds and medications inresponseto changes in patient’sconditions.
  • Scheduling follow up appointments.
  • Documentation of patient visits.
  • Assisting with drug inventory management.
This job might be for you if:
  • You have an RN Degree
  • You have an Active – State Nursing License, Multistate highly preferred.
  • You have 2 years’ experience working in a healthcare facility
  • You have 1+ years of direct infusion nursing experience.
  • You connect well with others and are comfortable talking to people.
  • You are familiar with Athena or EPIC EMR System or another EMR.
  • You have a knowledge CTP & ICD-10 coding practices.
