CAD Designer I

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Position Summary:
CAD Designer I will support multiple R&D departments providing virtual parts & assemblies, prints, process sheets, and illustrations in a professional office environment. Being a CAD Designer I, work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Assist Engineers in designs, and technical drawings of parts, and assemblies
  • Assist Engineers with Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
  • Develop and maintain engineering drawing standards
  • Provide technical verification of advertisements, manuals. and literature as required

Position Requirements:
  • Knowledge of industry recognized 3D CAD system (SolidWorks preferred)

  • Good written, verbal, listening, and computer skills
  • Operational proficiency in Engineering CAD system
  • Practical problem-solving and decision-making skills

Education/Certifications:
  • Associates degree in a drafting related field or related work experience
