FMM is seeking a motivated professional to fill our HVAC Maintenance Technician position. FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing both residential and commercial clients nationwide.
Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing, HVAC systems for commercial and residential properties. Technicians will be assigned to multiple locations throughout the Greater Baton Rouge Area and must be available for after-hour emergency calls.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Responsible for all preventive maintenance, necessary maintenance, and minor repairs to the HVAC systems on commercial and residential properties. Must have working knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure proper operations.
  • Conduct periodic general preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. This includes normal lubrication, adjustment, cleaning, replacement of consumable parts (filters, indicator lights, etc.) and periodic testing of equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain maintenance logs and records. Familiarity with preventative maintenance and work order software systems.
  • Perform all assigned work to ensure the safety of the building occupants and ensure continuous operation.
  • Install new HVAC systems in both residential and commercial properties, ensure proper operation and function.
  • Able to install and perform preventative and repair maintenance on generators.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma
  • HVAC Certification
  • EPA Section 608 Certification
  • Five (5) years previous experience
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions using FMM's core values of Quality, Teamwork, Pride, Integrity, Safety, and Versatility
  • Proficient in computer, text, and email skills
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at a time.
  • Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening
