Job description

Lunar Energy was founded to transition homes to 100% clean energy-making our electricity greener, our air cleaner and our energy more safe, secure and reliable for all. We're a fast-growing, global company building the world's best clean energy products to electrify all homes and connect communities to form clean, resilient virtual power plants.
Responsibilities:
  • Receiving inbound shipments, physically and systemically, to be used in production operations and engineering projects.
  • Physically and systemically moving approved Production materials from IQC staging areas into storage locations.
  • Pick, pack and ship parts to support outbound shipping requests
  • Performing other systemic transactions as needed
  • Complying with materials management policies and processes, including First In/ First Out (FIFO) material rotation, 5-S, Safety, Quality, Attendance and Good Warehousing/Housekeeping processes.
  • Support the cycle count process in coordination with the manager
  • Operating material handling equipment (fork lift, pallet jack, etc).
  • Communicating via e-mail the status of material movements and transactions to appropriate internal customers.
  • Special project, other duties, adhoc tasks for growing startup as required.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field
  • Able to lift and carry up to 45 lbs,
  • Able to use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
  • Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Suite
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking, the ability to self-manage

Good to have:
  • Experience managing electromechanical inventory is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Dangerous Goods shipments is strongly preferred
  • Experience with inventory management and other ERP systems preferred
