This position operates in a remote setting, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own space. In this role, you will engage in a variety of therapeutic activities aimed at supporting patients' mental health needs:

• Conduct thorough individual and family therapy assessments to gauge the unique needs of each client, followed by tailored ongoing therapy sessions, both scheduled and as needed.
• Facilitate structured group therapy sessions according to established schedules, fostering an environment of trust and mutual support.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, setting clear boundaries to foster trust and respect.
• Utilize cultural sensitivity and adaptability, ensuring effective communication with patients from various backgrounds and those facing a range of DSM diagnoses.
• Implement psychosocial assessments to develop comprehensive treatment plans, closely monitoring patient progress and adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Document all sessions, treatment plans, and relevant updates with a focus on compliance with recognized medical necessity standards.
• Prepare daily charge sheets for sessions attended, ensuring accurate record-keeping and billing.
• Actively participate in weekly treatment planning sessions, presenting progress reports and collaborating with team members to strategize patient care.
• Assist in the formulation of Discharge Aftercare Plans for patients transitioning out of therapy.
• Stay current on professional developments through seminars, workshops, and networking opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge in the mental health field.
• Demonstrate proficiency in providing care across diverse age groups, from children and transitional age youth to middle-aged and geriatric adults, addressing their specific physical, psychological, and cultural needs.

You will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, each with individualized treatment requirements. This position emphasizes a holistic approach to therapy, responding to the unique psychological, emotional, and cultural needs of every patient. Your understanding and sensitivity toward the varied backgrounds and experiences of clients will play a crucial role in navigating their recovery processes.

• A valid and unrestricted mental health professional license in the state of Colorado (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT).
• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

While not mandatory, experience in a community health setting and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices will be advantageous for candidates. We value candidates who demonstrate a history of working effectively in team environments and who have developed strong therapeutic skills as evidenced by prior roles.
