About the Role

We are looking for world-class Certified Health Coaches who are passionate about our mission, comfortable in a dynamic, start-up environment, highly collaborative, and supportive. Our Certified Health Coaches provide 1 on 1 virtual coaching to our members.

The qualities of a Certified Health Coach include excellence in relationship building and communication, a high level of empathy, a passion for health and well-being, enthusiasm for continued learning, compassion, integrity, attention to detail and organization.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide a human touch to the digital recovery experience for members
  • Support members' journeys, reinforcing skill-building and behavior change to optimize engagement in the app
  • Reach out to members per service and workflow expectations
  • Manage member expectations of experience and outcomes
  • Actively listen to and address member challenges while collaborating with them to make healthy lifestyle changes
  • Monitor member pathway dashboard and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Triage member queries and advise appropriate team members, as outlined by clinical and technical protocols
  • Document all communications using Clinical Documents
  • Participate in regular coaching observations and ongoing training with Team Leader and management.
Qualifications
  • Current NBC-HWC designation and minimum of 1 year of experience as a health coach in person and/or in a virtual setting is REQUIRED
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
  • Experience working with behavior change or chronic disease management, including but not limited to MSK, diabetes, weight loss, nutrition, mental health preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Continuous learning mindset
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, start up environment.
  • Ability to work independently with discipline and urgency.
  • Knowledge and understanding of integrative, science- and evidence-based coaching techniques and modalities including - but not limited to - motivational interviewing, appreciative inquiry and positive psychology
  • Knowledge of digital health, behavioral health and musculoskeletal conditions a plus
  • Commitment to maintaining certification and continuing education requirements
