SMI SECURITY IS HIRING – MIAMI LAKES, FL

Position: Bilingual / Spanish-Speaking Security Officer
SMI Security is currently seeking professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Security Officers for an opening in the Miami Lakes area.

POSITION DETAILS:
  • Position: Security Officer.
  • Location: Miami Lakes, FL.
  • Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.
  • Schedule: Combination of afternoon and overnight shifts.
  • Weekends: Required.
  • Holidays: Required.
  • Language: Bilingual English/Spanish or Spanish-speaking preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected officer will be responsible for a variety of security and property-related duties, including:
  • Monitoring and controlling access at the gatehouse.
  • Conducting golf cart patrols throughout the property.
  • Performing regular security patrols and maintaining a visible security presence.
  • Monitoring property activity and reporting suspicious or unusual behavior.
  • Performing parking enforcement and addressing parking violations.
  • Assisting residents, guests, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintaining accurate daily activity and incident reports.
  • Responding appropriately to security concerns and incidents.
  • Following all SMI Security policies, post orders, and client instructions.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty.
  • Protecting the property, residents, guests, and client assets.
