Description

Job Purpose:

The beverage cart attendant will maintain day to day food and beverage operations at his/her specific facility and work cooperatively with other departments. The position will promote an exceptional "golf experience" and provide excellent services and programs to all our customers.


Duties:

  • Maintain effective working relationships with other employees, management, and all members of the public
  • Adherence to the established policies and procedures of the MGASA
  • Pick up and fill the beverage cart with ice at the beginning of shift
  • Use the beverage cart check out sheet to stock and restock the beverage cart 
  • Verify beverage cart stock with a supervisor and obtain a $50 change bank for the shift
  • Meet, greet, and welcome prospective customers 
  • Initiate and implement safety regulations and procedures
  • Maintain clean, neat, orderly, and sanitized beverage cart storage areas 
  • Store food consistently using safe and sanitary food handling procedures
  • Return unused food and beverage product to the proper storage areas
  • Mention promotions and specials, answer questions, and suggest menu items
  • Verify accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips, and other charges 
  • Adherence to cash and system controls to ensure the safekeeping of assets and inventory
  • Perform clean up, closing, and paperwork duties as assigned
  • Maintain daily inventory and records for ordering
  • Maintain compliance with TABC Seller/Server guidelines
  • Clean and return the beverage cart to the cart barn
  • Advise supervisor of any feedback as soon as it occurs
  • Other duties as assigned



Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:

Must have a valid state issued Driver's License

Employer paid TABC/Texas Food Handler Certification within 2 weeks of employment.

Ability to work with others (Teamwork)

Available to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays

Ability to drive a golf car

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to multitask

Positive attitude

Golf knowledge preferred, but not required
