Technical Professional Services Consultant

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for a specializedProfessional Services Consultant to join the Delivery Services team as a key client-facing technical subject matter expert. In this role, you will travel across the US (and selectively worldwide) to serve as the face of our enterprise software solutions at client sites, driving successful platform implementations across complex gaming and casino operational environments.

You will analyze client business operations, guide technical teams through software configuration and user training, and provide critical first-level support through user acceptance testing (UAT) and project go-lives.

Please note:you must have at least 4+ years of related professional experience in software integration, technical consulting, or enterprise software support in the Casino industry to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

System Installations & Upgrades: Lead domestic software installations and upgrades across a portfolio of 20+ proprietary gaming applications using cutting-edge configuration and support technology.

Operational Consulting & Business Analysis:Conduct end-to-end business analysis, operational consulting, system configuration, user training, and ongoing support for casino operators.

Technical Troubleshooting:Apply advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex installation and upgrade issues, driving 100% client satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner directly with Product Management, Engineering, Course Development, Support, and Technical Training teams to refine product development, documentation, and operational readiness.

Client Engagement & Industry Mastery:Work directly with customer teams on-site to maintain deep domain expertise in casino operations, software workflows, and emerging industry practices.

Licensing & Travel Execution:Maintain required gaming license approvals across multiple jurisdictions while managing frequent domestic and international travel (50% average, up to 80% including multi-week assignments).

Operational Readiness:Work flexible schedules—including required overtime, weekends, and holidays—and perform on-site duties requiring physical mobility for full shifts.

EXPERIENCE

4+ years of related professional experience in software integration, technical consulting, or enterprise software support; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Practical understanding of casino operational practices, system configuration, software implementation, testing, and user acceptance support.

Proven track record of delivering end-user training, mentoring, and software support across varied technical skill levels, backed by strong presentation skills.

Ability to work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Support teams to inform documentation, product development, and team readiness.

Ability to travel 50% on average (and up to 80%), including frequent, extended multi-week domestic and international assignments.

Compliance & Background: Must be at least 21 years old, successfully pass background, credit, and security checks and ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses across multiple jurisdictions.

Ability to stand for a full shift and work flexible hours (including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as project timelines demand).

Consistently delivers high-quality work and meets strict solution deadlines within budgeted hours, regardless of project complexity.

Fosters strong, collaborative relationships across both internal cross-functional teams and external client stakeholders.

Quickly analyzes complex operational scenarios to identify root causes and proactively resolve technical issues.

Maintains high personal energy, a positive approach, and adaptability when navigating changing project scopes or unexpected obstacles.

Demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning, acquiring new product domain knowledge, and fostering innovation.

Casino Operations Expertise: Direct operational experience in one or more functional areas: Casino Accounting (Machine Accounting), Casino Slot Operations (EZPay, Machine Accounting; Fills & Jackpot Processing, Attendant Workstation, Advantage Monitor, Drop Utility), Casino Cage (EZPay, Cage and Table Accounting - CTA), Casino Marketing and/or Player Loyalty- Patron Management, and various Bonusing products: Casino Table Games - Cage and Table Accounting (CTA), Table Manager and various other Casino Gaming Products - Tournament Manager, Dynasty ETG.

Relationship Management: History of building strong working relationships with all levels of casino personnel—from frontline staff to General Managers, Directors, and C-level Executives.

Training Delivery Methods: Hands-on experience delivering training via Instructor-Led Training (ILT), On-the-Job Training (OJT), and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT).

Pre-Sales Support: Experience participating in sales presentations, technical proposal reviews, and ongoing account maintenance.

Ability to travel internationally a plus
