• Provide psychotherapy and mental health services specifically tailored to the needs of individuals dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health status, encompassing emotional, behavioral, and social functioning to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment strategies that are culturally competent and address the unique challenges faced by each patient in recovery.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to promote a coordinated and holistic approach to patient care.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, updating treatment plans based on individual feedback and evolving needs.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and accessible community resources, empowering them with knowledge and support.
• Adhere to all ethical and professional standards in practice, including maintaining patient confidentiality and securing informed consent.

Your primary focus will be on patients at our detox center, which serves individuals who are beginning their recovery journey from substance use disorders. This population often expresses complex mental health needs and may require both therapeutic interventions and compassionate understanding. By employing your clinical skills, you will help patients address the underlying psychological challenges that accompany their substance use issues, facilitating a smoother transition toward lasting recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• At least 2-3 years of experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services, particularly to individuals with substance use and psychiatric disorders.
• A strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and assessment techniques relevant to mental health treatment.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology to facilitate patient care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and engage effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience working in a detox or addiction treatment setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with community resources and support systems that can be leveraged to enhance patient recovery.
• A background in crisis intervention and management techniques.
