Communications and Events Strategist, Mid
The Opportunity:
Support the planning of multiple simultaneous events for a U.S. Army client. Assist with coordination and execution of logistics for in-person and virtual events. Design, develop, and produce a variety of internal and external communications and events materials. Apply detail-oriented skills, balance priorities, and contribute to a team that fosters creativity and growth. Maintain a driven, collaborative, and strategic outlook, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Apply specific functional knowledge, as well as working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance.
You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience in the strategic communications field
  • 2+ years of experience with event planning and execution
  • Experience supporting and executing in-person and virtual meetings and events
  • Experience supporting special events at the local, regional, and national levels
  • Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and events, prioritize as necessary, and deliver to a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to work across organizational levels and make complex subjects easily understandable
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience working in an Army or other DoW environment
  • Experience supporting and executing international events
  • Knowledge of AP style
  • Ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment
  • Possession of excellent listening, observation, analytical, problem recognition, and problem-solving skills
  • Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
