Job description

QA Manager Location: Columbia, SC Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) after 30-90 days fully onsite Interview Process: One round of Virtual Interviews with the Camera On Duration: 12 Months Employment Type: Contract Experience Required: 06+ Years Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense. Project Scope: This role supports a large-scale Medicaid Eligibility and Enrollment project, one of the most critical and complex IT initiatives for the State. The project requires strong quality leadership to ensure compliance, accuracy, and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure quality management across Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI) phases Validate deliverables against requirements using traceability matrices Develop and implement QA processes, templates, and standards Support compliance with CMS and MITA standards Analyze business processes and recommend improvements Manage requirements tracking, change control, and reporting Guide testing teams and support UAT activities Track defects, manage resolution processes, and ensure quality outcomes Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Collaborate with stakeholders including vendors, government agencies, and internal teams Support system certification efforts Required Skills & Experience: 3+ years of Quality Management experience in healthcare IT projects 3+ years in healthcare insurance systems implementation Experience with QA processes, testing, and defect management Experience with rules engines and orchestration layers Preferred Skills: Medicaid eligibility systems experience Knowledge of MITA and MECT Experience in large or outsourced IT projects Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
