The Principal Endpoint Architect is responsible for the design, deployment, configuration, and ongoing health of MACOM's global endpoint estate, including physical workstations, shared devices, virtual desktops, servers and other devices. This role sits within the End User Support team and owns the full lifecycle of endpoint management tooling - Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), PDQ, Group Policy, ServiceNow, etc.- ensuring devices are secure, compliant, patched, and performing well for the global user base.
Product Engineer
Job Description:
In this Product Engineer role at MACOM Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for the production release of complex RF & microwave assemblies, and supporting production test in our Nashua, NH facility. This includes development of production tests plans to verify product performance, design and debug of RF test boards for automated test equipment, statistical analysis of data using sound statistical methodology to set test limits and datasheet specifications, resolving test issues, troubleshooting, and repairing test failures. To accomplish these tasks, the Product Engineer will interact closely with Design Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality Engineering and Operations. A strong electronics background, hands on lab experience and the ability to adapt to a fast paced, high volume production environment are essential to the success of this position.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Generate production tests plans to verify product performance
  • Design/analyze RF & microwave test boards for automated test equipment
  • Set up and perform lab RF measurements
  • Analyze test data using sound statistical methodology
  • Perform yield analysis and hold meetings of the project team to review the findings
  • Ensure all aspects of product manufacturing, including hardware, documentation, BOMs and costing are in place for the production release of a product
  • Ensure new product introduction is successful and on schedule
  • Support production test equipment, software & fixtures
  • Interpreting electrical schematics & assembly drawings for troubleshooting test failures
  • Provide instructions for rework & repairs

Key Competencies Required:
  • Significant exposure to and knowledge of RF and microwave components
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Knowledge of SAP is desirable but not essential
  • In-depth understanding of statistics
  • Ability and desire to learn new technologies
  • Willingness to travel occasionally

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent - Master's degree is a plus
  • More than 7 years of experience as a Product or Test Engineer in the semiconductor field
  • Knowledge of a wide range of RF & microwave semiconductor products including amplifiers, switches, attenuators, phase shifters, converters and limiters
  • Strong RF/microwave test and measurement skills
  • Experience in the characterization of semiconductor devices
  • Ability to analyze data using sound statistical methodology and effectively present technical information
  • Exceptional team and communication skills to interface with internal cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
