The position is fully remote, which allows for flexibility and the opportunity to maintain a work-life balance while serving clients effectively. You will have access to advanced electronic medical record (EMR) software for efficient documentation and case management.

• Conduct thorough intake evaluations to assess clients’ needs, tailor individual therapy strategies, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups to address various mental health issues.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy based on client preferences and clinical needs.
• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring holistic client support.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professional integrity.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities to keep abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and practice.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse disorders. Many clients may have limited access to mental health care due to socioeconomic factors, and your expertise will play a vital role in bridging this gap and providing them with the support they need.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland is essential.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is required.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with a varied clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software and other technologies related to patient care.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly preferred.
• Experience with telehealth practices and virtual counseling environments.

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience and caseload availability.
