This role is primarily remote, allowing for greater flexibility while maintaining collaborative connections with colleagues within our outpatient office setting. • Provide weekly supervision and mentorship to practicum students and newly minted graduates pursuing clinical licensure, offering guidance as they navigate their initial professional experiences.
• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using a variety of modalities tailored to each client's needs.
• Collaborate effectively with medical practitioners, social workers, and community organizations to create comprehensive support networks for clients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with the latest best practices, ensuring a high standard of care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and patient records in compliance with state regulations, utilizing electronic health record systems efficiently.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with relevant research and advancements in the therapeutic field.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Shelter Counseling Clinic, you will work with a diverse range of client populations, including adults, children, and families facing various mental health concerns. Our clients often seek support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Your expertise will help empower them to achieve meaningful change and navigate life's challenges with resilience.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; a Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work is highly desirable.
• A valid state license (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) is required to practice as a mental health therapist.
• Current professional liability insurance is necessary for client protection.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is mandatory for candidates.

• Experience working within an outpatient setting and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Prior supervisory experience or involvement in training practicum students is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated ability to engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with a range of healthcare professionals.
