Job description

Job Title: Marketing Communications Specialist
Location-Type: Baltimore, MD (3 days onsite)
Start Date Is: ASAP
Duration: 6 months contract
Compensation Range: $23/hr – $29/hr W2
Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K

Job Description:
The client is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to create and execute targeted content and campaigns for relationship-driven client and prospect marketing.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and distribute marketing content for clients and prospects
  • Support virtual and in-person event marketing initiatives
  • Develop white papers, collateral, presentations, social media content, and email communications
  • Own social media and email marketing execution, scheduling, and tracking
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align messaging and timelines
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights
  • Translate broad project scopes into clear, audience-focused deliverables

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Experience supporting email marketing and social media programs
  • Strong content development and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret marketing performance metrics and communicate outcomes
  • Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise messaging
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Content authoring experience
  • Experience marketing to enterprise, institutional, or high-value client audiences
  • Experience supporting long sales cycle or relationship-driven marketing
