Overview
Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Multi-Discipline Engineer supporting an Intelligence Community Customer.
The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.
Responsibilities
  • Leads and facilitates integration efforts to include upgrading and managing virtual computer systems.
  • Generates and evaluates alternative solution concepts and architectures.
  • Produces ICRs, configuration documentation, and customer presentations.
  • Manages VMWare ESXi virtualized platform running Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system.
  • Manages NetApp (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN)
  • Produces and briefs technical solution presentations for customer briefings.
  • Maintains compliance of Enterprise tools including HBSS, Carbon Black, ArcSight, and ACAS.
  • Collaborates with ISSE to ensure system accreditation is sustained.

Qualifications
Clearance Required: TS/SCI
Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor of Science degree plus + 5 years of relevant experience, Associate Degree + 7 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of equivalent military and/or civilian experience in lieu of a degree.
Required Certifications:
  • IAT II or higher certification (i.e., Security+, CISSP)

Required Skills:
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • VMware - vSphere and vCenter.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience.
  • Ability to produce detailed technical documentation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of network principles and protocols.
  • Broad understanding of TCP/IP and transfer protocols, such as ftp, sftp, ftps and https.
  • Extensive understanding of security appliances and protocols.
  • Capable of working on a team under pressure to meet strict schedule requirements.

Desired Skills:
  • Understanding of Postgres and Mongo database principles and concepts.
  • Experience with cross-domain solutions, specifically High Speed Guards (HSGs)
  • Familiarity with shell scripting and perl scripting.
  • Knowledge of application protocol LDAP.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
