Visiting Angels of Olathe, KS is immediately hiring Personal Caregivers to join our growing team serving Seniors in Olathe, Lawrence, Bonner Springs, Spring Hill, Paola, New Century, Shawnee and surrounding communities through one-on-one home care!

Responsibilities:
Provide non-medical support and companionship to senior clients 
  • Perform personal care duties; such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting 
  • Issue medication reminders and maintain medication schedule 
  • Conduct grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping duties 
  • Support the client's mobility needs by assisting with walking and transfers and other physical activities
  • Complete household errands and provide the client with transportation to and from appointments. (Not required from all caregivers)
 Job Requirements:
·         Must be 18+ years to apply
·         RELIABILITY A MUST!
·         1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
·         CNA license a plus
·         Dementia/Alzheimer's experience a plus
·         Active phone where you can be reached, for scheduling purposes 
·         Must pass criminal background and DMV check as well as drug screening
·         Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance and reliable vehicle are required
·         Positive, caring and open to learning on a continuous basis, attitude and proven track record of dependability and trust
·         Communicate effectively at all times with peers and supervisors
·         Self-directed/motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
·         Must comply with all company policies
