SUMMARY
The essential function of the position within the organization is to provide administrative, organizational and clerical support for the Trial Court Technology Officer and Court Technology Department. Responsible for administrative and clerical tasks within Court Administration which includes (but not limited to): assisting court technology personnel, handling telephone calls, facilitating customer service activities, distributing mail, typing and copying documents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Information Officer and Court Technology Department.
  • Assist with the day to day operations of the department
  • Prepare spreadsheets and presentations
  • Compile statistical data using Microsoft Office
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Manage procurement process and related record keeping
  • Coordinate vendor contacts, contracts, quotes and invoices
  • Compose reports, agendas, correspondences and business letters using proper format
  • Screen phone calls/visitors and provide them information, direction, and resolve issues
  • Assist with planning of training sessions and other programs for court technology personnel
  • Record accurate meeting minutes
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of established administrative procedures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Bachelor's degree and one year of related work experience.
PREFERRED: One year experience in Information Technology related administrative work.
Relevant experience and/or education may substitute for the recommended minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
