Description:

Administrative Assistant

- Recruitment and human resource functions involving applicants and existing employees

- Maintaining calendar and schedule of two senior management members

- Freedom to create process and procedures that work with your duties or use existing procedures

- Able to independently navigate Windows PC & iOS and use the internet as a resource to problem solve, find information, etc

- Successfully use (and quickly adapt to new) office equipment (copy machines, scanners, printers, fax machines, etc.), hardware and software to improve processes/systems. Currently using Jotform, Canva, Constant Contact, Paylocity, and Procare

- Highly Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Publisher and MS PowerPoint)

- Takes initiative in getting tasks done, very willing to jump into something new and offer whatever help is needed

- Eager to take on special projects and collaborative team assignments- Is efficient in terms of time usage & work style (Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task as well as work independently)

- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize workload on short notice

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Ability to think logically and critically to improve systems and streamline processes

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Able to communicate in a professional, polite, and empathetic manner

- Being comfortable asking questions and able to implement constructive feedback

- Spanish and/or Portuguese speaking jumps to the top of the list

- Familiarity with child care environments, regulations, agencies (Massachusetts Early Education & Care, NAEYC, etc.) jumps to the top of the list
