As a Storage Center Assistant Manager, you will work along the side of the General Manager frequently be responsible for the day-to-day operations of your storage center, working as part of an excellent team and learning valuable skills to get your career moving. U-Haul is looking for its next management team.

This position requires a two-person team to live on site in an apartment provided by U-Haul.

While one of you manages the rental facility, the other can work alongside as the Assistant Manager

Storage Center Assistant Manager Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle transactions, storage rentals and customer service.

  • Keep regular, detailed and complete records.

  • Ensure cleanliness and security of the storage site.

  • Assist the storage center manager with directing and motivating center personnel.

  • Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Storage Center Assistant Manager Minimum Qualifications:

  • Driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • An eye for detail

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
