Physician Assistant (PA) - Veteran Medical Evaluations | Full-Time or Part-Time Opportunities

Pennsylvania (Forty Fort & Williamsport)

The IMA Group is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Veteran evaluation team in Pennsylvania. This role is centered on conducting medical assessments for Veterans and completing detailed clinical documentation in support of the VA disability benefits process.

We are currently hiring for a full-time provider who is available to travel between our Forty Fort office (3 days per week) and Williamsport office (2 days per week). Providers hired into this position may also have the opportunity to receive cross-training for Department of Corrections (DOC) evaluations. For candidates who prefer not to travel, we are also open to discussing a part-time opportunity based exclusively in Forty Fort.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive medical evaluations for Veterans
  • Review medical records and relevant history prior to examinations
  • Document objective clinical findings and functional limitations
  • Complete electronic reports accurately and efficiently
  • Follow established VA examination guidelines and protocols
  • Collaborate with administrative and clinical support staff to ensure timely completion of evaluations

Qualifications

  • Active Physician Assistant license in good standing
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, examination, and documentation skills
  • Experience in primary care, internal medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine, orthopedics, emergency medicine, or related specialties is a plus
  • Ability to travel between Williamsport and Forty Fort for full-time positions
