Qualifications/Requirements:
The Joint Simulator Environment (JSE) Branch of the Advanced Training Capabilities Division is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist. Join our dynamic team in the Training Directorate at AFLCMC, where you will be central to keeping our branch functioning efficiently and our leadership prepared. Serve as the administrative cornerstone for the JSE Branch. You will be responsible for streamlining branch-level business operations, actively managing executive calendars, and driving the successful execution of taskers and personnel systems. You will work closely with leadership to resolve process bottlenecks, improve communication flows, and handle the practical and technical aspects of division-wide administrative, supply, and records management support.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
Serves as the primary Branch task management specialist assigning, tracking, and monitoring critical suspenses for leadership.
Acts as the unit administrative support specialist for personnel requirements, to include serving as the Division ATAAPS Timekeeper for 70+ personnel, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing through the Civilian Payroll System.
Coordinates complex travel arrangements, proactively mitigates disruptions, and processes vouchers using the Defense Travel System (DTS).
Streamlines staffing of documents and executive correspondence, maintaining high quality-control standards and adherence to official style guides (e.g., Tongue and Quill).
Establishes and manages comprehensive communication systems, including weekly administrative synchronization meetings, calendar reviews, and suspense tasking emails to keep branch leadership prepared and informed.
Manages branch logistics, serving as the unit Government Purchase Card (GPC) holder and supply management point of contact.
Maintains and continually improves electronic records management systems, document libraries, and internal branch package coordination processes.

Additional qualifications:
Knowledge of organization, major issues, program goals, missions, functions, administrative operations of the organization, laws, regulations, policies, and precedents which affect the organizations programs and relate to support resources.
Knowledge of a comprehensive range of staff concepts, objectives, policies, management and organizational techniques, and military command.
Knowledge of support program operations throughout the organization in order to conduct studies, analyze findings, and make recommendations on substantive operating programs. Skill in applying analytical, evaluative, and investigative methods and techniques to issues concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and support program operations.
Ability to prepare project and staff reports and deliver briefings, while effectively communicating both verbally and in writing.
Ability to plan, organize and adjust work operations to meet mission objectives utilizing available resources.
Ability to interface with a wide range of personnel with tact, courtesy, diplomacy, and professionalism.
Knowledge of Division functions, activities, policies and initiatives.
