Treasury Support Specialist

Department: Deposit Operations
Reports To: VP of Deposit Operations
Classification: Exempt
Role:
The Treasury Operations Support Specialist is responsible for preparing treasury management documentation and setting up new companies and users in the Treasury Management system. This role supports services such as wires, ACH, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay, lockbox services, and sweep accounts for commercial and small business clients. The specialist monitors request status, resolves exceptions, supports troubleshooting and implementation activities, and partners with Treasury Management and Deposit Operations to deliver accurate, timely, and responsive service.
Essential Functions amp; Responsibilities:
35% - Treasury Management: Track pending, completed, and exception items to support timely follow-up, accurate reporting, and service quality. Assist with Remote Deposit Capture setup and related client risk assessment activities. Review, clear, and resolve data and file maintenance exceptions related to Treasury Management services. Receive and process lockbox payments. Review RDA and large-dollar check clearing items on a daily basis. Support commercial members with treasury management services, including wire transfers, ACH origination, and Remote Deposit Capture.

25% - Create and maintain Treasury Management documentation and set up new companies and users in the Treasury Management system in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. Maintain electronic files and required documentation for Treasury Management services. Assist with testing new and existing Treasury Management products, system enhancements, and process improvements.

20% - Provide technical support, and maintain accurate reporting for assigned Treasury Management activities.  Provide responsive technical support to associates and members, resolve service, system, and product-related questions.

15% - Partner with Treasury Management, Deposit Operations, and Commercial Department to support the setup, maintenance, and servicing of new and existing Treasury Management clients.

5% - Provides backup support for department and performs other duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
1. To meet established expectations of ELGA's Core Factors including but not limited to Accountability, Attitude, Communication, Competence, Continuous Improvement amp; Innovation and Relationship Building.
2. Preforms and supports all Treasury Management services including but not limited to wires, ACH, RDC, Positive Pay, lockbox services, and sweep accounts. Monitors request status, resolves exceptions, supports troubleshooting and implementation activities,
3. Work independently and directly with Treasury Management, Deposit Operations, Commercial Department and member facing branch teams to develop relationships with goal of supporting our treasury management members.
4. Troubleshoots product and software issues using sound judgment and logical problem-solving skills. Understands financial transactions and is able to communicate information accurately and effectively to associates and members. Trains members and associates on treasury management systems and related software applications.
5. Follows established policies and procedures and perform job duties in compliance with applicable rules and regulations. Completes required annual security, operational, and compliance training. Complies with regulations applicable to the role, including Cybersecurity, GLBA, BSA, AML, OFAC, and CIP requirements.
6. Educate members on the benefits of treasury products and support with use of TM products. Lead education, rollout of new treasury products to internal team through online and virtual presentations as needed.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Familiarity with Treasury Management Products.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. Ability to develop internal and external relationships and deliver on our commitment to exceptional member experience.
