About Your Role
This role is responsible for managing projects from planning through closeout within active airport environments, ensuring coordination across stakeholders while maintaining compliance with airport standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or related field. Electrical or Mechanical Degree highly preferred
  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

You'll Need to Get the Job Done
  • 8+ years of project management experience
  • 5+ years of aviation facilities or capital project experience
  • Experience delivering projects in active, occupied airport environments
  • Experience managing consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong knowledge of project delivery methods and stakeholder coordination
  • Strong documented knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing experience is required

What Will Make You Stand Out
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
  • Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)
  • Experience at large or complex airport environments
  • Experience coordinating with airlines, tenants, and airport operations
  • Familiarity with secure-area construction and airport operational constraints

What You'll Do
  • Manage aviation facilities projects from planning through closeout
  • Develop scopes of work, schedules, cost estimates, and budgets
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects in active airport environments
  • Ensure compliance with DFW design standards, procedures, and applicable codes
  • Coordinate design reviews, construction activities, and phased implementation plans
  • Serve as primary point of contact between airport stakeholders, consultants, and contractors
  • Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and Security teams
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
  • Monitor cost and schedule performance and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, TSA, and life-safety requirements
  • Support safety, QA/QC, and secure-area construction protocols
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive updates
  • Maintain project documentation and support audits and closeout
  • Support work in terminal, landside, and airside environments
  • Participate in night, weekend, or phased work as required
  • Perform site walks including restricted and mechanical areas
  • Complete DFW badging, background checks, and security requirements
