The VIP Host at Parker Hospitality is the first and last point of contact for our members and guests. Professional, approachable, and detail oriented, the VIP Host ensures smooth arrivals, organized seating, and consistent hospitality throughout the night. This role requires strong communication, discretion with high profile clientele, and the ability to coordinate seamlessly with the venue team to deliver a polished and memorable experience.

This position is part of a Service Charge pay model and is compensated primarily through commission based earnings from service charges on guest checks shared among front of house team members. This position may also receive tips from customers. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Serve as the first and last point of contact for guests, providing a warm and polished welcome and farewell every time.
2. Manage guest lists, VIP tables, reservations, and walk-ins with precision and professionalism.
3. Recognize and warmly welcome frequent members, tastemakers, and VIPs by name.
4. Anticipate and accommodate guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and special requests proactively.
5. Read the flow of the room and adjust pace, tone, and presence to match the energy of the evening.
6. Coordinate with management, bartenders, servers, and security to ensure seamless execution throughout the night.
7. Communicate wait times, seating updates, and VIP placements clearly and promptly to all relevant team members.
8. Lead host stand operations, train and guide new hosts, and delegate responsibilities effectively.
9. Maintain accurate guest notes and records in OpenTable and all internal systems.
10. Assist with bottle presentations, specialty setups, and peak hour flow as needed.
11. Act as a liaison between management, floor staff, and security throughout service.
12. Share VIP updates and guest insights during pre shift meetings.
13. Accept direction and constructive feedback from management.
14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout every shift.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hospitality or nightlife experience; VIP hosting preferred.
• Proven ability to thrive in high energy, fast paced environments.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Familiarity with upscale dining, cocktails, and nightlife trends.
• Experience with OpenTable or similar guest management platforms.
• Professional presence aligned with venue standards.
