Responsible for processing guest arrivals, departures, phone calls, revising in-house reservations, cashiering functions, and assists with additional special guest service requests while adhering to Forbes 5-Star/AAA 5-Diamond Service Standards and Wynn/Encore Las Vegas Core Values and all policies and procedures. Act as a hotel ambassador for guests and inter-departmental requests and inquiries.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Extensive knowledge of Property Management System
  • Extensive knowledge of Wynn/Encore Las Vegas room types and amenities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Wynn/Encore Las Vegas property offerings, locations, amenities and services provided
  • Executes room rate corrections/revisions, food and beverage credit application, Casino revisions, and rebate adjustments to guest accounts
  • Acts as a liaison between guests and all other Property Departments
  • Resolves billing issues/disputes for past and future reservations and settlement of in-house guest accounts
  • Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge all current promotions and rate codes
  • Ensure all guests interactions are in accordance to Forbes 5-Star/AAA 5-Diamond standards, in order to maintain the integrity of the Wynn/Encore Las Vegas ambiance while promoting hotel facilities and services
  • Handle all financial transactions carefully to ensure cash bank is accurately balanced at the end of each shift
  • Resolve guest issues within limits of authority and empowerment
  • Maintains the cleanliness and supply levels of Front Desk
  • Accurately completing checklists and reports associated with specific shifts
  • Possess the appropriate knowledge and skill level to act a Front Desk Representative in the Resorts, VIP Services, Satellite, Front Desk Call Center, or in the capacity of a Lobby Ambassador, or Back Office Support during peak periods
  • Provide personal curbside meet and greet, escort to the respective guest room, and in room check-in
  • Ability to assist guests with reserving transportation, restaurant and show reservations, and any other additional requests
  • Provide each guest with a welcome refreshment/amenity and an escort to the respective guest room
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum (2) years customer service or (1) year Front Desk experience in a luxury resort
  • Money handling, basic level math, accounting responsibilities
  • Must be at least (21) years of age
  • Requires excellent communications and telephone etiquette skills
  • Second language preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS preferred but not required
